Mandarin - Numbers & Dates
In our year 9 Mandarin class, we have been learning how to say each number from 1-20 in Mandarin.
We also learned the sign language for 1-10.
When the number is going above 10, the numbers are just joined together. For example, 11 in Mandarin is shí yī which is 10 and 1 joined together to make 11. And 20 is Èr shí which is 2 and 0 joined together to make 20. 34 is Sān shí sì which is 30 and 4 joined together.
