Genocide is caused by a person or a group of people’s hate of a certain race or religion. For example, the Hutus with the Tutsis and Adolf Hitler with the Jews. Several events lead to genocide. Genocide is caused by a person or a group of people’s hate of a certain race or religion. For example, the Hutus with the Tutsis and Adolf Hitler with the Jews. Several events lead to genocide. The Rwandan Genocide was caused by the build-up of hate between the Hutus and Tutsis and the assassination of President Habyarimana. Since the Tutsis were the scapegoats for every problem. Therefore, when President Habyarimana’s plane was shot down, the blame was put on the Tutsis. We can try to stop genocide from happening by giving the right education to everyone and improving the quality of life, especially in developing countries. Chinese New Year     Last week some of us helped Mrs Coutts with the Chinese New Year food. We made stir-fried vegetables with delicious noodles. We also learnt how to chop vegetables correctly. Today we learned how to write numbers 6 to 10, and we also attempted the number 0. The number 0 has fifteen strokes.
