Therefore, when President Habyarimana’s plane was shot down, the blame was put on the Tutsis. We can try to stop genocide from happening by giving the right education to everyone and improving the quality of life, especially in developing countries. Poverty is one of the main factors of genocide. In countries that struggle with poverty, there is often lack of education in people, and the quality of life in those countries is unsatisfactory. Preventing genocides will decrease the number of mass killings, destruction of races and religions and countries. If we ignore genocides and conflicts, then hatred, blame, and unnecessary deaths will continue to spread.
